Children First Now Campaign states the followings as
the children urgent and minimum rights, in order to facilitate,
comprehend and advance the movement of protecting the children's
rights:
1-To supply and assure welfare
facilities, education, and health care for children with the latest
world's standards by the Government. The Governments are required to
guarantee a unified standard of physical, social and mental
well-being and the development of children and adolescents in the
highest possible level and to provide
necessary cost assistance for free medical services,
educational and cultural activities for children regardless of
children's family status.
2-To provide well equipped and
modern preschools to all children with a lively creative educational
and social environment, regardless of family circumstances.
3-To guarantee the equal rights
for all children regardless of place of birth, nationality or
religion. To prohibit any kind of discrimination on ground of
gender, nationality or to children who are born out of marriage.
4-To prohibit child labor.
5-The elimination of nemesis
laws and execution in case of children.
The establishment of specific centers with modern
welfare facilities, education, medical and psychiatric assistance to
work with the integration in society of convicted adolescents.
6-Children's hijab should be
banned.
7-Children have no religion and
should be protected from any physical and mental obligation related
to a belief or to a religious institution. Attracting people under
sixteen years old to religious sects, ceremonies and places should
be forbidden.
8-To prohibit any religion
influence in education and to eliminate any discrimination and
gender apartheid in all educational levels and all schools.
9-To stop and prevent any sexual abuse of children,
including underage marriage which is a crime and should be
immediately forbidden. This should be supported by law. The sexual
relationship between an adult and persons under eighteen even with
consent is a crime and should be forbidden.
10-To prohibit the harassment
of children within their families, schools, and other educational
institutions and in the community. To strictly prohibit any corporal
punishment. To prohibit children circumcision, psychological
harassment and intimidation.
11-To prohibit the enlisting of
children in the army, security or police services.
