Manifesto on the Rights of the Child
*The society’s treatment
of the child is a measure of its humanity
and freedom.
*The
rights of the child take precedence over any national, racial,
economic, political, ideological, and religious consideration or
interest.
* Right
to life is the most essential right of the child, therefore body and
soul of the child must be immune from all violence.
*The
child is not anyone’s private possession. mother, father and state are
not the owner of the child.
*A child
means every human being below the age of eighteen years.

Ensuring a happy, secure, creative life for the child
society
is responsible for ensuring the well-being of every child irrespective
of her/his family’s means and circumstances. The state is obliged to
ensure a uniform, and the highest possible, standard of welfare and
development opportunities for the child and youngsters.
The
following contends must be legalized.
1)-Ensuring the highest possible, standard of health and safety. All
Medicare and treatment must be guaranteed and free of charge.
2)-Ensuring a free and mandatory education for all children from
kinder garden to the 12 grade of school. All children from an early
age must be educated in either, painting, music, sculpture, art metal,
drama, theater, cinema and sport. *(all colleges and universities
should be free of charges. In which all persons are allowed to enter
regardless of religious belief, gender, sexual orientation, financial
status).
3)-Ensuring a suitable accommodation with the highest standard of
living for all, especially for families with children.
4) State
must directly supervise the child’s nutrition. All children must have
proper, healthy and sufficient food. All children must have free food
at schools, kinder gardens and daycare centers.
5)- State
must place all children without a family or familial care under the
guardianship of state, and provide for their life and education in
modern, caring, progressive and well-equipped centers to prevent Child
‘s physical and mental and personal corrosion.
6)- All
children must have access to well equipped, modern nurseries to ensure
that they are provided with a creative educational and social
environment regardless of family circumstances.
7)-State
must ensure special pre-natal and post-natal heath care and nutrition
for mothers and the infants, regardless of family circumstances.16

Implementation of special rules and standards at enterprises to allow
women to have secure employment and professional carriers.
Assigning light work to pregnant women.
8)- State
must provide appropriate assistance, ie, specialist nurse, counsellor
to parents specially mothers in the performance of their child-rearing
responsibilities. And must ensure the development of institutions,
facilities and services for the care (heath, nutrition and hygiene) of
infants and children.
9)- State
must provide material and moral support to single parents. Special
support to mothers who have separated or born their children outside
marriage, in the face of economic difficulties or reactionary cultural
and ethical pressures.
10)-State
must ensure enjoyable, decent life for a mentally or physically
disabled children and facilitate the child’s active participation in
the community, regardless of family circumstances. Provide appropriate
heath care, education, transportation, community services,
rehabilitation, accessibility and disability programs.
11)-State
must provide material and moral support to youth who are not able to
live with their own family environment, for any number of reasons (**
ie. In whose best interests can not be allowed to remain in his/her
family environment) or have already left their family.
12)-State
must take appropriate measures to fight against drug addiction in
children. Helping youth off drugs through rehabilitation programmes.
Sever punishment for illicit production, and trafficking of drug among
children.
13)-
State must ensure all refugee children whether unaccompanied or
accompanied by his or her parents or by any person, receive full
protection. All children who are seeking refugee status must benefit
all achieved in social.
14)-
State must diminish infant and child mortality through effective
measures by promoting various medical researches, and by proving
healthy nutrition, health care and hygiene environment to live.
2-Protection of all children from physical and emotional of abuse at
home, in school and society at large.
In order
to protect all children from all forms of physical and mental and
sexual abuse The following rules not only must get legalized, but also
government, legislative, administrative, and children’s rights
organizations must enforce the law. Anyone who disobey these legal
actions must deemed a grave crime and be persecuted.
1)-
Prohibition of professional employment of children under the age of
16. prohibition of child slavery.
2)- Heavy
punishment for abduction of, the sale of or traffic in children for
any purpose or any form.
3)-Crucial legal action against exploitation use of children in
prostitution or other sexual practices, exploitative use of children
in pornographic, performances and materials. Exploitative use of
children is deemed a grave criminal crime.
4)-Prohibition of imprisonment of children. No child shall be deprived
of his or her liberty. No child shall be subjected to torture or other
cruel, inhuman or other degrading treatment or punishment. And
Prohibition of making child confess.
5)-
Abolishing capital punishment in general. No child shall be subjected
to capital punishment.
6) – Any
forms of neglect that prevents the child from his or her essential
needs while in the care of parent(s), legal guardian(s) or any
governmental and non governmental organizations that has the care of
the child must face prosecution.
7)-
Prohibition of performing medical, pharmaceutical or any surgical
experiments and test on the children not relevant to his or her
health.
8)-
Prohibition of abuse and violation of the child’s body and mind.
Violation against children for given any reasons, religion, tradition
or cultural practices should be treated as serious offences.
Prohibition of child’s mutilation and circumcision.
9)
Physical punishment or any psychological pressure, or threat to a
child must be considered a serious crime and must be persecuted.
10)-Prohibition of abuse of children at home, in schools and the
society at large, prohibition of subjecting children to psychological
pressure and intimidation.
11)-Prohibition of travel and movement of children without taking in
to consideration of the child’s well-being and independency.
Prohibition of deporting children.
12)-Prohibition of children below the age of 18 to engage in any armed
forces/secret military, or take part in war.
13)-Prohibition of taking captive civilians specially children.
Prohibition of any discrimination against girls
1)-Prohibition of imposing housework or specifically housekeeping
duties on the girls in the family.
2)-
Prohibition of hejab (hear cover/veil) on girls and abolition of any
restriction on the girls to participate in sport, art, recreation
activities in which boys are allowed.
3)-Imposition of sever penalties on abuse, intimidation, restriction
of freedom, degradation and violent treatment of women and girls in
the family.
4)-Prohibition of any form of degrading, male-chauvinistic,
patriarchal and unequal treatment of girls in public institutions.
5)-
*Prohibition of interference by any family members or relatives,
authority in private lives of girls over 16 and their personal,
emotional and sexual relationships. Prohibition of examine virginity
in girls unless it is relevant to the girl’s health.
6)-Elimination of any prejudiced and degrading references to women
from text book and educational material, and inclusion, instead of
special courses and teaching material on the issue of women’s
equality.
Opposing interference of religions on the child’s life
1)-
Protection of children from all forms of material and spiritual
manipulation by religions and religious institutions.
2)-
Prohibition of attracting persons under 16 to religious sect or
religious ceremonies and locations.
3)-
Subjecting religious dogmas, traditions and habits that incompatible
with children’s health and hygiene.
4)-
Prohibition of all religious law and regulation that is incompatible
with children’s creative and happy life. And prevent the child to
participate in social and leisure activities.
5)-
Complete separation of religion from education.
6) All
schools and educational establishments must be coeducational.
7)
Prohibition of any religious school for children. Prohibition of
teaching religious subjects or religious interpretation of subjects in
school and educational establishments. Sexual education should be a
compulsory part of high school curricula. All children should receive
seual education, and instruction on contraceptive methods and safe
sex.
8)-Omission of all law and regulations that breaches the principle of
secular non –religious education. Oversight all religious symbols at
schools ie: wearing or carrying.
9)-Omission of any kind of reference in the official calendar to
religious occasions and dates. Any force and coerce
Civil and social rights of children
To
eliminate all kinds of discrimination against children the following
rights must be legalized:
1)-
Complete equality of children irrespective of their gender, colour,
race, nationality, religion, social condition of his or her family.
2)- Equal
rights for all children, whether born in or outside marriage.
3)-
Equality rights for all children whether they are living with their
biological family or non biological or living under the guardianship
of children’s state.
4)-The
child has right to seek and know the truth about all area of social
life.
5)- The
child has right to express his or her views and emotion freely. And
the view of the child being given due weight in accordance with the
age and maturity of the child.
6)-The
child has right to leisure, play, relaxation and rest. The right to
adequate necessities for participating in culture, art, and sport
activities.
7)-The
right to socialize and have a social life. Prohibition of segregation
of children from the social environment and denying them opportunity
of association with others.
8)-The
legal age of consent for both girls and boys is 16 years. Sexual
relationship of adults (persons over the age of consent) with under
–age persons, even if they agree is illegal. And adult party is
prosecuted under the law.
9)- The
right of every couple over 16 to live together by their own choice.
Any form of coercion of individuals by any person or authority in
choice of their partner, in cohabition (or marriage) or in separation
(or divorce) is prohibited.
10)-
unconditional rights for all person over 16, in the choice of
residence., education and types of work. Freedom to travel and choose
place of residence, whether inside or outside the country.
11)-
Abolishing of man’s privileges as the so –called “head of the
household” and laying down of equal rights and obligations for women
and man regarding:
* the
care upbringing of children, even after separation,
* control
and running of family’s finance, inheritance, choice of residence,
*Housework and professional employment,
*Divorce,
and in case of separation, custody of children and division of, and
claims to , the family’s property,
*The
decision on the child’s surname if no agreement is reached, the child
takes the mother’s surname.
12)-Children are not criminal, even, when they broke the laws.
13)-Inviobality of children’s privacy. Inviobality of children’s
correspondence and conversation.
14)-The
right of every person over 16 to run for any representative body and
to hold any elected position or office.
15)-
Equal rights for refugees’ children with other residence.
16)-To
ensure the right of the child who is separated from one or both
parents to maintain personal relations and direct contact with both
parents on a regular basis. Even when a child’s parents reside in
different states must have the right to maintain on a regular basis.
17)-
Guaranteed full and unconditional freedom for organizing
non-governmental, organizations and institutions defending the rights
of the child.
