Brishna, a 10-year old girl, was raped by a local mosque mullah, Mohammad Aman Allah Barez in Kunduz province in Afghanistan, in May 2014. Although rapist was arrested but while recovering, her family and community members threatened to kill her and “dump her in the river.”
Brishna is protected by an organization but she is at grave risk of an “honor killing.”
This is neither the first nor the last rape and persistent aggression in boys and girls by the mullahs. This kind of violence is a clear evidence of lack of children’s rights in Afghanistan.
One of the Children First Now Organization priorities is campaign survival of Brishna and thousands girls and boys who are raped by mullahs.
We invite all children and women rights organization, NGO and activists to join this campaign. This is a international campaign that activist and NGOs can play a very important role in Afghanistan. Rapes to rights will be ended forever whit a massive social protest for rights of women and children.
