In the last three months alone, the Islamic Republic has murdered close to seventy children. Kayans, Sarinas, Nikas, Esra and many more. Military forces have marched into schools, imprisoning hundreds of children and subjecting them to torture and all kinds of harassment. This regime arrested 14-year-old Masoumeh for not wearing hijab, then raped her in prison and then handed over her dead body to her family. This child-killing regime cannot be members of a children’s rights organization. The Islamic Republic’s crimes against children goes back at least 43 years and is by no means limited to these last three months. Under this regime’s rule, many children have been hanged and thousands of girls have been sexually assaulted under the guise of Sharia marriage. This regime has forced children to wear the compulsory hijab it has forced them in to gender apartheid even in daycare centers and schools. Brainwashed children with religious superstition, and turned their textbooks into a collection of discrimination and degradation of women and children. The regime has made hundreds of thousands of children stateless. These are just some examples of crimes the Islamic Republic has committed against children. The Islamic Republic should be boycotted worldwide and excluded from all international institutions for these heinous crimes. The exclusion of the murderous regime from the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child is an important step in this direction. Children First Now, calls on all people in the world, from children’s rights organizations, labor organizations and humanitarian institutions and from all Western countries in particular, the UN and UNICEF to immediately exclude the Islamic Republic from the Convention on the Rights of the Child. This as a specific measure to put pressure on the regime to stop the killing of children and release imprisoned children.The organization Children First Now calls on all political and social activists and people’s organizations, writers and artists and all free people to pressure their governments and international organizations to exclude this child-killing government and child-hating regime from the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child and to boycott the Islamic Republic on a global level. Just as the world wide resilient protests contributed to the exclusion of the Islamic Republic of Iran from the UN Commission on Women, this child-killing regime must now be excluded from the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child.
